Important Note
Oversized hinge pins are supplied with dimensions suitable for repair work carried out by specialized personnel on over-and-under shotguns requiring functional overhaul interventions, not merely aesthetic ones. The pins undergo heat treatments necessary to ensure their strength and durability.
They do not, however, undergo surface treatments such as nickel plating, chrome plating, Nistan treatment, or bluing. They are supplied in black color resulting from the heat treatment.
We recommend that gunsmiths carry out the surface treatments locally through specialized workshops, in order to ensure consistency with the color of the receiver on which the work is performed.
