The gun itself is the best automatic on the scene by far and a vast improvement on my Beretta AL391 Urika, which I loved even though it was problematic. Sadly I returned home from fowling the other day to find the forend cap was broken, which was somewhat disappointing as I had only recently been boasting how much better the quarter turn mechanism is than the screw thread on the Extremas. Sadly it has proven in under 4 years to not be nearly robust enough and has cost me the best part of 40 quid for a small bit of plastic. If it doesn't last more than 4 years I think Beretta should improve on the design or switch back to screw thread. However, I would still buy this over any other auto on the market though if you want the ability to shoot 2.75 and 3.5 inch loads.
